DESCRIPTION OF IMPACT ACTIVITY:

Briefly: Attend a rain barrel workshop, build your own rain barrel and learn about the importance of capturing rainwater to use around your garden and property.

 Seneca County Soil and Water, Seneca County CCE, and the Cayuga Lake Watershed Network are excited to host a Rain Barrel Workshop at the beautiful Cayuga Shoreline—a lakeside venue generously donated by the owners in support of this event.

Join us for an afternoon of hands-on learning and leave with your own rain barrel, ready to put to use in your garden. Collecting and reusing rainwater is a key principle of Lake Friendly Living, and there's no better time to start than now!

This workshop is a great way to kick off your Memorial Day weekend and your summer gardening projects with a Lake Friendly mindset. All materials will be provided—just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!

Location: Cayuga Shoreline, 7930 County Rd 153, Interlaken, NY 14847 (west side of Cayuga Lake)
